It costs nothing to join The Philanthropist Party; a Purple Dot simply means a person completed a free assessment, published a public values statement, took a 2 minute quiz, signed a pledge, and passed a basic identity review. Anyone can join The Philanthropist Party in 100+ countries. TPP provides quick & easy grant funding to candidates...everywhere.

A Purple Dot is a public values snapshot from 20 questions or 200 questions. A Purple Dot does not need to sit inside the purple TPP circle for a Candidate to get funding.

Support a Purple Dot Verified™ Candidate

The Philanthropist Party is not restricted to American politics. Anyone can join The Philanthropist Party from any country. A Purple Dot Verified™ Candidate may or may not have his or her Purple Dot within the TPP purple circle. The quiz results and location of the Purple Dot has no impact on funding — except that it allows donors to search for unique candidates that align more closely with the donor/philanthropist values.

The platform is designed to help first-time candidates, local civic leaders, and public-service applicants. Children under the age of 18 are absolutely welcomed and encouraged to "RunPurple", but should do so under adult supervision. The profile cards show the launch format for candidates, pledge records, quiz placement, values statements, and grant requests. Candidates may complete a more thoughtful 200 Questions to become Purple Dot Certified™, which is optional and does not provide a funding advantage.
